Shamika Godley brings nearly 30 years of distinguished experience and creative passion to her work as an architect, business owner, and industry leader. A proud graduate of Howard University, where she earned her Bachelor of Architecture with cum laude distinction, Shamika has built a remarkable career defined by technical mastery, imaginative problem-solving, and an inspiring commitment to design that puts people first.

She is the founder of SGodley Architects®, a Maryland-based firm established in 2009, specializing in commercial and local, state and federal government projects. Throughout her career, Shamika has fearlessly led the design and delivery of complex, high-impact projects—seamlessly balancing creative design vision with constructability, budget, and schedule to achieve results that are both practically sound and truly inspiring.
