Primary Roles & Responsibilities
Direct and manage field surveys and organize acquired documentation
Support AHJ permit approval process under direction of AOR
Comprehensive understanding of current building codes and demonstrated ability to analyze and prepare a code report, applicable to the project
Prepare, review and approve architectural designs and specifications developed by project technical staff and other organizations (i.e., consultants, clients) for constructability and present to AOR for review
Manage project team including but not limited to: DPOR and clients for progressive drawing review, coordination and project meetings – both internal and external under direction of AOR
Manage and schedule junior staff in relation to the project budget, schedule and prioritizing project tasks and requirements with support from the AOR
Manage multiple projects / teams simultaneously, with schedule and budget reporting to AOR
Maintain project records and files per standards
Proposal support and documentation
Prepare written and graphic reports, notes and meeting minutes
Thorough knowledge of and compliance with office procedures and standards
This position is 80% remote! We equip you with the ability to complete your job from the comfort of your home within a reliable and consistent schedule
Required Proficiencies
Revit 2022 proficiency as it relates to construction document production, BIM modeling, consultant coordination and AutoCAD integration if required
General understanding for daily use the following: MS Office, Adobe products
Essential Professional Practice Skills
An excellent command of English, both written and spoken
Ability to communicate with, lead and direct team members of any skillset
Minimum Education & Training
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (or related field) from an accredited university
Minimum 8 years of professional working experience
